To test if a Moonstone is real, look for its distinctive adularescence – a bluish or milky glow that shifts when the stone is moved. Real Moonstone feels cool to the touch and may have natural inclusions, unlike fakes which are often too perfect. It also has a hardness of about 6 on the Mohs scale, so it can be scratched by harder materials. Additionally, you can shine UV light on the stone, as authentic Moonstone may emit a faint fluorescence. Rest assured, we have already tested each Moonstone bead for authenticity, so you can be confident in its quality.
